POSTCARDS by Cobb's Studio photographers
The photo story begins with Edmund G. Ross and his political turmoil following the civil war and then as the Senator from Kansas who saved President Johnson from Impeachment. The story continues with Eddie Ross, his daughter. After she married a photographer, William Cobb from Boston, the Cobb family played an important role in promoting commercial photography in Albuquerque for 30 years through the Cobb studio. In 1909, Will Cobb died and Eddie continued to run the studio until 1945 as well as raise four children. Her daughter, Daphne took photos of Pueblo Indians until 1928.
